Based on recent trends, the population in Denton County is forecast to increase more than 35% in the next 15 years. That’s more than 300,000 additional neighbors. Meanwhile, federal and state government is shifting responsibilities for the environment, transportation, health and safety to regional and county government. Now more than ever, we must stand up and shape our future or have our future decided for us.
